Amilia Shaw is an award-winning actress, singer, and dancer in New York City. She has appeared in productions in NYC off-Broadway, regionally and aboard cruise ships. She most recently appeared opposite the legendary Austin Pendleton and Ilia Volok in the world premier of ‘Chagall in New York’ at Theatre for the New City. Amilia was awarded “Best Leading Actress in a Play” at the 2024 SheNYC festival. She will play Aurora in the off-Broadway play ‘The Glitch’ fall 2025 at the Jerry Orbach Theater.

Amilia has studied acting with Geoffrey Horne, Charlie Sandlan and Lawrence Ballard, amongst many others. She graduated from the Professional Actor Training Program at the Maggie Flanigan Studio and she studies at the Lee Strasberg Institute.
Amilia is a classically trained singer having sung at Paper Mill Playhouse, Seattle Children’s Theatre, Green Room 42, The Duplex, and aboard a cruise ship for 6 months as a lead vocalist, amongst many other venues. She studies with the acclaimed Jeremiah Abiah.
Amilia is a trained dancer in the styles of musical theatre, jazz, tap, ballet, and hip hop. She has studied with Nick Palmquist, Charlie Sutton, and Ray Hesselink, amongst others.
In her free time, Amilia is passionate about the visual arts, baking, reading, and spending time with her loved ones. She has almost as many failed baking attempts as failed attempts at getting a perfect wing in tap class.
